💜Our Story💜

My Sisters Hands of Healing was born 2022 in Dallas, Texas, from a deep desire to restore hope where trauma once lived. Founded by Moriah McNack, a sexual abuse survivor and community advocate, our organization began with one purpose - to help youth and adults impacted by sexual violence, foster care, and generational poverty heal, rebuild, and thrive.

We recognized that healing requires more than counseling - it requires connection, opportunity, and support at every stage of life. Through trauma-informed programs like Teen Life 360, and HER Life 360, we walk beside individuals as they strengthen their emotional wellness, develop leadership skills, workforce development and build stable, purpose-driven lives.

Our work thrives through partnership. With Neighbors in Action Outreach, a community resource development center in the heart of Dallas, we connect families to essential services - from workforce development and childcare to food security and housing support. Together with Prince to King, an organization providing over 80 trained and vetted mentors, we ensure our at-risk youth have consistent guidance, positive role models, and safe spaces to grow.

Since our founding, My Sisters Hands of Healing has helped hundreds of individuals find stability, healing, and purpose. Each story of transformation represents the power of what happens when compassion meets action - when a community commits to rebuilding together.

At My Sisters Hands of Healing, we believe that healing is not just recovery - it’s restoration. And through collaboration, mentorship, and holistic support, we are helping Dallas families rise stronger, healthier, and more connected than ever before.

From Survival to Purpose: The Journey of Moriah Vanee McNack

In 2010, Moriah McNack survived a traumatic sexual abduction....an experience that would forever change the course of her life. What was meant to silence her became the seed of her purpose. Through years of personal healing, advocacy, and service, Moriah transformed her pain into power, dedicating her life to helping others find hope beyond hardship.

As the Founder and CEO of My Sisters Hands of Healing, Moriah leads with compassion, vision, and a deep understanding of what it means to rebuild from the inside out. Her lived experience drives every program, conversation, and initiative - ensuring that survivors are not only seen but supported in practical and lasting ways.

Moriah’s leadership reflects a rare combination of empathy and strategy. She has built partnerships across Dallas that connect trauma survivors, youth in foster care, and families in underserved communities with life-changing resources. Under her direction, My Sisters Hands of Healing has grown into a holistic ecosystem of healing and empowerment - offering mentorship, emotional wellness, and workforce development through programs like Teen Life 360 and HER Life 360.

Moriah believes that healing is not a destination - it’s a journey of courage, community, and restoration. Her commitment to that journey has inspired hundreds to take their first steps toward recovery, and her ongoing vision continues to shape the future of trauma-informed support across North Texas.

“What tried to break me built my purpose. Healing is how I fight back - and how I help others win.”
Moriah McNack, Founder & CEO, My Sisters Hands of Healing
